It might be interesting, if you have enough castle sets, to put lots of ladder pieces all over the battlefield but only wallcrawlers like Spidey and Venom can use them. They are sticking to the wall. I don't see why you can't place a single ladder piece halfway up an elevation; say at height 6, that is only accessible to these units.

Very interesting. It is quite a thematic and fun idea. Since they would have exclusive height advantage opportunities, they might become ever-so-slightly overpowered (albeit, map-dependant).

Instead of ladder pieces, you could use sticky tack! Now they can stick to anything: fortress walls, ruins, trees, Braxas, lamp posts, etc.
