Map Bio - The Galactic Empire sought to use its new space station superweapon, the Death Star I, to destroy the small jungle moon and crush the Rebellion. Following the Destruction of Alderaan, the Empire sent a legion of stormtroopers to confirm Rebel presence on the moon. They discovered the rebels, and established a monitoring outpost at the Massassi Arena. Following the skirmish, a small force of X-wing and Y-wing starfighters were sent to destroy the Death Star, but most were killed in the attack. With the timely assistance of his friend Han Solo, Luke Skywalker was able to fire two proton torpedoes into a small thermal exhaust port in a small trench near the northern pole, thus destroying the station and saving Yavin 4. A great ceremony was held following the Death Star's destruction, where Princess Leia bestowed medals of honor upon Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, along with his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca.

Looking at the picture it appears their are gyphs as part of each start zone. Is that correct, if so what glyphs are they?

Heh, looks like they are the wind glyphs that prevent figures from being able to fly.

Yes, Wind glyph. It is there to prevent somebody from putting Raelin into the tower on turn 1.

Ah, okay I didn't see anything in the first post about them. I was looking at using this map for an upcoming play test, no flying figures were on the docket though. We should maybe add something to the Special Rules & Clarifications section.

Built this map today and saw the info on the glyphs is included in the build directions PDF. Also noticed that other then the two different length wall sections their is one other item that is not mirrored on the board. On level 3, right in front of the wall sections, one side has a 3 hex piece and the other has just a 2 hex piece. Not sure if that was intentional so I thought I'd point it out.

Do the winds become strong winds if both glyphs are occupied? My home group did this once, don't remember if that was a house rule or official.
