I like the sound of that. I was not wanting to get rid of it, I just have a better version of the carbon freeze chamber, that I will post soon.Yeah it is definitely a unique map that I think we should do something with. Maybe drop the freezing chamber aspect of it and name it for some part of Coruscant?
@Yodaking , any suggestions on what we call this one. We can keep the glyph locations for an eventual release of a battlefront situation.
I went ahead and changed this one to the Jedi temple of Coruscant. When I get home from work today I will load up my Bespin Carbon Freeze Chamber.
I posted up a new map I'm testing that better represents the freeze chamber. Look it up, its pretty fun. If you test it, I'll link it to the OP.I went ahead and changed this one to the Jedi temple of Coruscant. When I get home from work today I will load up my Bespin Carbon Freeze Chamber.
Having played a ton of Battlefronts 2 with my son this weekend I just wanted to say...Good choice on the name. reminds me a lot of the Jedi Temple on the game. Lots of steps and columns.
So, possibly scoot the two in the start zones out just a little bit? Then we can start testing it with the latest rule set. I think we are pretty close to having the rule set where we want it too.I think this map is big enough to not that any control points inside a SZ. You can place one just outside of the SZs and easy to claim on OM1 of round 1, but should your opponent manage to battle their way there, or even sneak around and claim it from you while you are focused on other control points, you shouldn't have to try and teleport in units to the opponents start zone. One of the things I liked doing in the video game was to run off after a control point not being actively contested and flip its control while hoping my defense held up in other areas. This board is spread out with more than one level and so it would be an ideal board for trying something like that out on.
Bio - The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was known as a serene and peaceful place, and while mostly an accurate portrayal of daily life inside the Temple, it was not always so. Over the years criminals and Sith affiliated cultists have broken into or invaded the Temple in search of valuables, hidden knowledge, or objects of power. When the Empire rose to power and the Jedi Purges began, the Temple became a war zone. With the Jedi no longer there to protect their secrets, the temple was sacked and looted by one organization and then another, all of whom were convinced that they could locate and access the secret vault of Jedi knowledge and artifacts rumored to be hidden within.
