Sewer Labyrinth

Re: Sewer Labyrinth - Final Editing

If someone can get us a tile count, that should be all that's left. Everything posted in OP

Re: Sewer Labyrinth - Final Editing

Updated with the ones listed on the PDF, but still need to count battlements and different types of pillars.

Re: Sewer Labyrinth - VOTE 4 On Deck

Yea
Not entirely sure what I should be checking on maps.

Me either, but I guess just that everything in the OP is where it needs to be in terms of DOs, special rules, terrain counts, etc., and the build instructions and PDF and everything are consistent with the map image.

Yeah knowing there is someone here to hold me accountable and double check me on the pdf would be a huge relief for me.

Re: Sewer Labyrinth - VOTE 4 On Deck

OK. I rarely ever look at a pdf. :)

Yeah it's a bit easier when it's cards posted in the OP. As long as someone other than just me is checking we are probably ok.

It seems to me like the terrain count in both the op and pdf are wrong. Someone with more time than me might want to figure out the specifics, but I do know for a fact that there aren't any 24 hex grass tiles in any of the required sets.

Good catch. I copied and pasted what was on the PDF without reviewing it, but that (and the OP as a result) are definitely wrong.

I copy whatever is in the OP for the PDF...I don't type that stuff out :D

Let me know when the OP is updated and confirmed and I'll fix the PDF's

Just tag me.

Thanks for the heads up

Special tiles count was correct. Standard tiles count has *now* been corrected and needs to be corrected on the PDF as well (@japes when you have a chance :-D ).

This map was featured in a SuperScape tournament last weekend and I just played again with StarWarsScape. A very, very cool map.

When building it, I missed one road tile on one half - the road piece that basically allows you to switch from right to left after passing one of the pillars. Because the terrain is in the garage and we live on the 4th floor, I decided to just remove it on the side where it was built right, resulting in a single non-road spot in the network. This spot became incredibly interesting after that - forcing interesting decisions, because you either had to move across the swamp water to get on the left road, cross at the point after the next column, or run all the way to the middle before getting on the road to the left side. I thought I would mention it here, because it decreased mobility while switching sides, but made choices a whole lot more interesting.

The piece is the road piece located on both sides, level 2, coming from the outsides you have two swamp, then a pillar, then a road piece. Take that one out.

One of my favorite maps as well!

Have you done much map building? I'd love to see some new blood in the map department at C3G and seems like you have an eye for interesting terrain interations!
