More questions.

Will there be any other Wednesday events after three headed hydra? (Sad to miss that.)
Will proxies be allowed for AoA figures?
Will Renegade be lending any support?, prize or otherwise? (AoA Shiori would be sweet.)
What does the coaching time slot entail?

What time is dinner Wednesday? Our flight was supposed to land around 4:30pm, but it’s been pushed back until 5:50pm. I’ll definitely be hungry.

The Events thread says dinner is 6:30-7:30 so you should be fine.

6:30 PM for dinner, so you should be there in time!

Weds: only 3HH as an official event, but people will be around afterwards playing HeroScape and other games

Proxies: I really dislike proxies from a TO perspective, but we may make an exception for a few of the AoA figures (like Drake and Shiori)

Renegade support: hopefully! Details TBA (and still tentative)

Coaching: great question. Last year, dok, Matthias, Major Q23, and I ran a bit of a masterclass. We'll be looking to run a more focused coaching event this year.
 
Is there any kind of sign up to let y’all know we can help building maps or just hop in once we get there?
 
Signed up to help build maps. I'll probably be there a little bit after it starts though since I'm staying off site. I can bring terrain also if needed.
 
It appears that we have sold out our hotel room block. I am going to try to get more rooms at the block price, but the hotel is pretty full and it may not be possible to get more rooms, particularly double queen rooms.

If you are going to SC and would like a room in the hotel, and you have not booked already, please pm the following information to me by 8 am Eastern DT, Monday July 1:

Dates you want the room for, whether you want a king or double queen room, and if you can't get the room of your choice whether or not you would accept the other type of room.

I want to be able to tell the sales director exactly what we need.
 
Announcements went out today via .org regarding the above, prize donations, and the new ScapeCon discord server.
 
FYI: We will not be using Renegade's updated point values for classic figures this year. Changing them 1 month before ScapeCon is not an acceptable timeframe for us to use them.
 
Out of curiosity, is there an update on the ScapeCon AoA pickup? I plan on using some of the units in my armies and want to make sure I'll have them. Plus I want to make sure I get my order for the painted master set in if not.
 
I will reply as to status by pm to anyone who placed one of the GenCon pickup orders through us. Shoot me a pm if you have questions.
 
Attention SC attendees who are not in the discords (HS, Renegade or SC):

Yesterday, Renegade issued updated rules, several of which are non-sensical and/or completely at odds with official Hasbro rules, FAQs, and/or index "book" rulings which have been in place for 20 years. These new rules, issued less than two weeks before GenCon, were clearly written by people with very limited knowledge of HS. For those of you attending GenCon, you will be required to use the new rules.

Due to the timing and, more importantly, the poorly thought out rule changes, ScapeCon will NOT be using these new rules.

That's assuming I don't make a run to the boarder with it... :D

I will say the set boxes are larger than the original HS master set boxes. Glad I took my wife's mini-van to pick them up and not my little Chevy Volt.

I wish someone would shoot some vids/take some pics and send them to Renegade. Show them that Scape Con is how to run SUCCESSFUL event. No crappy battle network, no last minute card changes, no changes to the event. Just folks rolling dice and kicking ass.

I take it you are not in the Renegade Discord. Nor Facebook. I've had several employees react to my photos.

Nope.

When my wife gets home from the beach house I will see if I can look on Facebook via her account.
