Scape Summit II Main Information Thread

Wasn't there going to be a Valkyrie Trial GenCon qualifier event?
Roughly when would that be scheduled?

I don't know exactly if what we're doing will be labeled a Valkyrie Trial but we have been told we could have an event that functions as a Gencon qualifier. That event will be Saturday morning and it will be Delta Doubleton (my attempt to make a format that allows the new units to see play while not just being a bears meta.

Same kinda deal as the HexiCon 3 Challenge which was a Qualifier.

First, half the events are inconsistently in small text; the Saturday morning events are immediately after Friday night events in normal font size, easy to read past when skimming. Next, Saturday's Delta Doubleton originally had only the title line & description. Nowhere in the events list was any mention of GenCon, Renegade Valkyrie Trials or a Renegade World Championship (or even using Renegade units, which I might expect as a lead-in to their championship tournament).

On an unrelated note, it would be nice to have links to Delta Pricing, dok's Power Rankings list (doesn't include Renegade units), and OEAO's Modern Power Rankings list (has Renegade units, but not VC?), if these are in fact the intended event parameters.

Thank you for this. I will work on getting that information implemented ASAP. One of the reasons why I didn't label it Valkyrie Trial or anything of that nature is that I've received conflicting information from Renegade on whether this is a Valkyrie Trial in all but name or if it is actually being labeled as a Valkyrie Trial by their Organized Play system. I have been told I could set up an event to allow a bye at Gencon.

Renegade units will be allowed at all the events. The format for that specific event is All-Time, so pre-Renegade figures will be allowed there.
