MY QUEEN
At the start of the game, you must choose a ??? figure you control to be Inferno's Queen. If Megatron is in your army, you must choose Megatron.

FOR THE ROYALTY
After revealing an order marker on and instead of taking a turn with Inferno's Queen, you may take a turn with Inferno. Add 1 to Inferno's Move, Range and Attack and subtract 1 from his Defense number for each revealed numbered order marker on Inferno's Queen's card. You may not take additional turns with other figures you control.

RAINING FIRE
After Inferno moves with the Flying special power, instead of attacking, you may roll one unblockable attack die against each figure Inferno passed over that does not have the Lava Resistant special power.

FLYING
SUPER STRENGTH

Inferno wholeheartedly believes that he is an ant and that Megatron is his queen. Unlike many Predacons, he has no personal ambitions or future plans; everything he does is for the good of the colony and his queen. Luckily for Inferno, many of the tasks his queen assigns him involve burning things—and he likes burning things.
Keeping with his ant mentality, Inferno has absolutely no regard for his own personal safety whatsoever. He is fanatically loyal to Megatron, and as such will use his heavy firepower and incredible strength full-on and take any task given of him, no matter how suicidal. And he'll do it laughing maniacally the entire time, for the glory of the colony.

Don't know the character, but everything about this looks pretty sweet! Love the reuse of Raining Fire. The way you used the OM reveal/unreveal boosts here is pretty cool. I only wonder if you shouldn't split up the move boost with the attack/range boost. That way when the move boost is high, it's natural to opt for the Raining Fire power, and when the attack/range boost is high, normal attack it the best play.

Yeah, that could work out well design wise. Not 100% on the theme correlation though. I'll leave that up to you.

The Megatron call out is a bit tricky since his Megatron is a separate person in the same universe as (a) G1 Megatron (and named after a third separate Megatron...).

You'd want like "figure named Megatron" anyways since that's how those powers are worded in general now, and as long as you did name and not identity we'd be fine for futureproofing even if we ended up giving Beast Wars Megs an SI of some kind.

That would force him to pick G1 Megs currently but I think that's fine thematically.

My local Walmart has the Beast Wars Transformers figures marked down to $17 right now, so I ended up buying the Bee figure as a bit of an impulse buy even though I knew the name (Buzzsaw) didn't look right. I had it in my head that your write up was about a Bee who thought Megatron was his Queen. The flying around part tricked me as I don't naturally think of flying ants. So now that I see Inferno is an ant and not a bee, is there a figure you had in mind for him? And does anyone have any desire to card the transformer bee? If so, I can get you pics! :)

Beast Wars characters are roughly person sized, so the easiest figure for Inferno is just like a ant toy from one of those bucket o animal things you find at Walmart

TACITURN TACTICIAN

Immediately after you win initiative, you may move a figure you control. If you lose initiative this round and you roll the 20-sided die for a figure within 4 spaces of Black Bolt, you may add 2 to your roll.

BROKEN SILENCE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range Special. Attack 8.
Choose 3 spaces in a straight line from Black Bolt. All figures on the chosen spaces, and all figures other than Black Bolt within 1 space of the chosen spaces, are affected by this special attack. Roll 8 attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. You may only use this special attack once per round, and only if a friendly Unique Hero has been destroyed this round.

MASTER BLOW
If there are at least four wound markers on this card, you may roll 1 extra attack die for each wound marker when attacking with Black Bolt. Immediately after using Master Blow and until he is destroyed, Black Bolt can no longer use this special power or Flying, and his Move, Attack, and Defense are reduced by three.

SUPERSTRENGTH

FLYING
Had a lot of help from @MrNobody brainstorming this.
The goal is to finish off the original Illuminati team for 1.0.
I play a lot of Multiplayer with @IAmBatman and @Ericth74 , and with Illuminati's Visionaries being dependent on winning initiative, which becomes increasingly less reliable with each additional player, I want to explore having the King side of the team offer something on losing initiative, like Namor.

Though Black Panther was originally invited, he didn’t join the Illuminati until later.
Black Bolt also turned out to be a Skrull in New Avengers: Illuminati #5 (2007)
Having Black Bolt’s points at 330 means you can do:
ORIGINAL MEMBERS
Reed Richards (200), Iron Man (270), Professor X (190), Doctor Strange (320), Namor (280), Black Bolt (330), Spells (10) OR Skrull Infiltrator (10) (1600)
ORIGINAL INVITEES
Reed Richards (200), Iron Man (270), Professor X (190), Doctor Strange (320), Namor (280), Black Bolt (330), Black Panther (210) (1800)

Nice, I really like the design. What kind of Illuminati teams can you build with him at more typical 1000 to 1200 pts?

He seems chockablock full of personality. :p

Seems pretty cool. So if he uses Master Blow twice, his stats go down to Move 1 and Attack/Defense 0?

Ah, OK, I missed that part.

It does feel a little messy that you're subtracting three from his stats until he's destroyed but the ability that subtracts is negated. Like I *think* it works as worded, but it's not like the most intuitive thing in the world.

Slick design!

Looks like you could run Bolty, Namor, Strange, and Iron Man at 1200. I love the full combo possibilities as well!

@IAmBatman , I know what you mean. Maybe instead of "negated," a better phrase would be "cannot use"? As written, it might be comparable to when Hugo Strange uses his power on himself:
MUTAGENIC EXPERIMENT
At the start of a round, before rolling for initiative, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on any Army Card you control with the Insane personality. Until the end of that round, all special powers on the chosen Army Card are negated, its species is Mutate, its Move number is 6, its Range number is 1, and its Attack number is 6. You can only use this special power once per game.

MASTER BLOW
Once per game, if there are at least four wound markers on this card, you may roll 1 extra attack die for each wound marker when attacking with Black Bolt. After using Master Blow, until he is destroyed, Black Bolt's Flying special power is negated, and subtract three from his move, attack and defense.
The "until he is destroyed" thing is to have him come back with fresh electrons in the event of a Retcon Punch, or some sort of "Comic Book Death" Story Card.
