Ah, yes, I did notice that (I failed to elaborate). If there's already a quote in the post I'm trying to quote, it doesn't seem to bring it all in to my reply.

Yes, getting this to work (as I did above) is ... challenging.
Here's what I've worked out:- If you hit "Reply" on a post, you get that post inserted into your reply box, but not anything it references.
- But, if you hit "Reply" on another post while leaving the first post inserted into the reply box, it inserts the second post underneath the first (i.e. it doesn't overwrite it). So you can quote multiple posts at once.
- So, if you follow the quote in the first post to the post it's quoting, you can hit "Reply" on that post, thus getting both the post you're quoting and the post it's quoting.
- Then you may have to fiddle a bit to get them to look nested like I did above—switching to BBcode mode helps a lot with this—or just don't bother and let them be one under the other.
- Another wrinkle: if the initial post and the quoted post aren't on the same page, you may have to cut and paste a bit, because each page seems to have its own reply box.
Anywho, is getting the post and the post it quotes worth all that hassle? I mean ... maybe?
Entirely up to you and how much effort you want to put into it. 
The search function is not working for me either. Like you, I've also searched in threads for specific words that I know exist in the thread, but nothing comes up. The search function on the old site wasn't great either, but it worked all right if you used Advanced Search. Currently, though? Diddly squat.
Also, it appears that you cannot sort Gallery photos by Name. The only current options are Date, Comments, rating, Reaction Score and Views. I would like to firmly suggest that Name be added as an option. Some of us customs creators and map makers have a lot of photos in the Gallery, and finding them right now is a nightmare.

I believe it's being worked on... Many OPs edited between May of this year and the day of the update seem to be experiencing the issue. I think that's the date range.
Is there a "History" link in the bottom left corner? If so, you might be able to revert the page to a recent edit. Most, if not all, the HoSS "Holocron" pages were affected. I was able to recover the edits on all but three.
Hoping my blogs will appear too....
I have not been able to locate the History link on my thread, so no luck there. Hopefully it gets corrected soon.

How do I actually download a map?
When I go to the Gallery button and then the Battlefields section, I can click around files, but they all appear to just be images.
Here is an example that looks like a map but is just an image as far as I can tell.
EDIT: Also, the OP lists that downloads after 2022 are missing, but none of the map links I have clicked on from before then work either. As far as I can tell, all downloads that are not images are missing.

Yeah, mine (as few as they were) have disappeared as well. But, never fear: Xorlof is aware of the problem and is working hard to fix it. As far as we know, all the data is there; we just have to get it imported into the new site.

Bumping this again so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I'm still unable to edit my blogs, or have new ones appear separately so that they'll actually get seen. As it is right now, any new blog will appear as a tiny link under the heading of whatever old blog I was forced to make it an 'entry' of.
