Hi everyone, hope you're having a good Friday (or a good 4th if you're in the US). I'm rolling out a few new improvements to the management of armies. If you're signed in and head to
your armies page you'll notice a slight change to the interface:

You can now create folders to help you organize your armies! Folders can be created with the little

icon in the sidebar (or the button on mobile). Folders can be rearranged by dragging and moving them within the sidebar, or dropping them on top of existing folders to nest them (pretty standard file explorer stuff). Click on a folder here to navigate into it.

You will also see the folders that exist in the currently viewed directory at the top of the page, for easy access. These can also be clicked for navigation, and serve as drop targets for armies.

To that end, you can also drag and drop your armies into folders in either the sidebar or the list at the top of the page, using the little six-dot handles on the top left of the army card as the anchor by which you move them. Hint: you can also right-click an army (or use the horizontal three-dot indicator) to open a context menu that allows you to edit/move/delete the army.

That's about it for the army management. If you have suggestions for improvements to this interface, or have ideas for additional features, let me know!

Also, I have added the concept of "favoriting" armies. From the
community armies page, you'll notice that each army card has a little heart icon in the upper right. If you click or tap, you will save that army as a favorite.

You can filter for armies you have favorited in the updated army sidebar.

I've also added slight improvements to the sidebar here, adding numeric input fields to all the sliders so you can enter your exact values rather than futzing with a little on-screen nub. There was a bit of faulty filtering logic going on here as well that is boring to talk about, but has been corrected.

A few other behind-the-scenes change have been made. I also added the ability for a logged-in user to create an "anonymous" army, meaning that the army will not be saved to your account but will be "saved" as a shareable URL only. You will see the option when you go to save an army you're creating.

Next up, I'll be working to add a few more improvements to the army-building experience (better synergy suggestion, "remixing" of existing armies, and other various enhancements). Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
