Formatting To-Do List for the Official Books (2025-01-22)

With the launch of Heroscapers 2.0, some formatting in the official books did not transfer over perfectly. This list is an attempt to consolidate what improvements can be done for each book. I intend to add to and edit this list as time goes on. All are welcome to contribute and point out items for this list if you come across anything. I also hope to tag the authors of each book, acknowledging that some of them may no longer be around much.
  • The Book of 4th Massachusetts Line
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
    • The quoted power text (VALIANT ARMY DEFENSE BONUS) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
    • Synergy Benefits Received / VALIANT ARMY DEFENSE BONUS - several linked books have custom colour formatting. Select the text and remove the colour formatting or make them all the same.
  • The Book of 10th Regiment of Foot
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or purple #9365B8 for an Einar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Part of the quoted power text (BAYONET ATTACK 1) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
  • The Book of Acolarh
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or green #41A85F for an Ullar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Synergy Benefits Received - Ulginesh link has custom colour formatting. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
    • Power Rankings / Jexik's power ranking is set to that blue again, but I consider it fitting since it represents the cheerleader role from Jexik's What's in an Order Marker? article. I am okay to leave it unless others think otherwise.
    • Master Index / How to choose, and use, the Elven Army. - The link is set to a custom colour. Select the text and remove the colour formatting or make them all the same.
  • The Book of Agent Carr
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Master Index - I am okay with the custom colour since they all match. Can go either way.
  • The Book of Agent Skahen
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Synergy Benefits Offered - Otonashi link has custom colour formatting. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
  • The Book of Airborne Elite
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Part of the quoted power text (GRENADE SPECIAL ATTACK) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
    • Master Index / Paratrooping onto Ladder Rungs?. - The link is set to a custom colour. Select the text and remove the colour formatting or make them all the same.
  • The Book of Air Elemental
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Part of the quoted power text (SWIRLING VORTEX) is set to blue. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
    • Part of the quoted power text (AIR MASTERY) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
    • Various headings and links throughout the book (-Rulings and Clarifications-, for example) are set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
  • The Book of Alastair MacDirk
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.
  • The Book of Ana Karithon
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead. The text also seems double spaced.

    • Synergy Benefits Offered / OTONASHI : Tricky Speed 4 - link and text are smaller than the other links; these should ideally be consistent.
  • The Book of Armoc Vipers
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or green #41A85F for an Ullar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Part of the quoted power text (SLITHER) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
  • The Book of Arrow Gruts
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or red #B8312F for an Utgar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
  • The Book of Ashigaru Harquebus
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or purple #9365B8 for an Einar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
  • The Book of Ashigaru Yari
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or purple #9365B8 for an Einar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
  • The Book of Atlaga the Kyrie Warrior
    • The title is not centered and contains an out-of-place underscore.
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or green #41A85F for an Ullar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Part of the quoted power text (ULLAR'S BOLT OF THE WITHERWOOD) is set to black. Select the text and remove the colour formatting.
  • The Book of Aubrien Archers
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or green #41A85F for an Ullar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
    • Master Index - Some links are set to a custom colour. Select the text and remove the colour formatting or make them all the same.
  • The Book of The Axegrinders of Burning Forge

    • The "If you cannot see the Army Card graphic" message below the card is set to black. Select text and clear colour formatting.
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead.
    • The quoted power text "FLEDGLING ACID BREATH" and "WYRMLING BONDING" contains text set to black. Select text and clear colour formatting.
    • A lot of the text throughout the book is set to black. It would be easiest to clear all colour formatting for the Rulings and Clarifications, Combinations and Synergies, and Heroscapers Community Contributions.
  • The Book of Blastatrons
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead.
    • The quoted power text "HOMING DEVICE" contains text set to black. Select text and clear colour formatting.
    • Master Index - Some links are set to a custom colour. Select the text and remove the colour formatting or make them all the same
  • The Book of Blue Wyrmling
    • The "If you cannot see the Army Card graphic" message below the card is set to blue. Select text and clear colour formatting. Ideally, center this as well.
    • Bio font and is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead.
    • A lot of the text throughout the book is set to black. It would be easiest to clear all colour formatting for the Rulings and Clarifications, Combinations and Synergies, and Heroscapers Community Contributions.

  • The Book of Brave Arrow
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or yellow #FAC51C for an Aquilla theme.

  • The Book of Braxas
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead.
  • The Book of Brunak
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or red #B8312F for an Utgar theme. The text also seems double spaced.
  • The Book of Capuan Gladiators
    • The spacing at the top, around the title and collection, is off. Remove a space below the title, add a space below the collection.
  • The Book of Chardris
    • Bio font is blue, making it hard to read in dark mode. Use blue #2C82C9 (the top middle colour) instead, or green #41A85F for an Ullar theme.
    • The rulings and clarifications font is quite small.
I'll probably drop things in spoilers as they add up. More to come.

I had asked for permissions (pre-update) to edit the Books Index in order to add the AoA units. If/when that happens I can help clean some of this up as time permits.

I have finished the A's. 'Tis a slow process when I only do a few at a time, but progress is progress.
 
I'm just now finding this. I'm never in this forum section. Thank you for these notes! There is plenty that can be done to update the formatting. No promises on when I'll take my next pass for some updated. This is super helpful work, thank you greatly! Following.
