Lovely map. However, one man's "tight" is another man's "claustrophobic."

Thank you, I was lost on the name for a bit but all the dark green with the trees sparked 'grove.'

I really love how tight your maps’ footprints are. It opens you up to do some interesting things with the terrain-heavier sets. I’m planning on building Morning Skirmish and Ironworks soon!

Side note: 1x BftU+VW+FotA appears to be a really underutilized terrain combination. Ironworks is one of the few maps on this site that I’ve found that uses it. Do you have any insight as to why that might be?

And I have no idea. Chris Perkins just suggested I build a map with that terrain combo and I came up with Ironworks. 1 BftU + 1 FotA actually gives you a lot to work with.

There are terrain combos that are just rarer. I think it has to do with having 1 BftU or 1 SotM as your base master set is a lot harder than having 1 RotV as your base. It's also just generally easier to build maps with RttFF or TJ most of the time, I think (however working with 1 SotM 1 RttFF here was tricky). Other than that, I'm not sure why some are much rarer. TT+VW maps were very rare for a while.

Two new maps, first ones with the new Heroscape 2.0 stuff! Both use only one Age of Annihilation master set. Anew is a hexagon form map with four pairs of laur ruins, and Resonance had a lot of inspiration from GameBear's classic, Common Ground. Very happy with these!

The middle T-shape structure, which may have a little to do with the name wink wink, is the long Laur ruin wall with two pillars connected to one of the ends, forming a wall perpendicular to it.

Here's a dense map using both the jungle from The Grove at Laur's Edge and from Swamps of Valhalla, called Uncharted:

Another new one, called Yellow Isle! The idea behind the name is the sand hexes are supposed to represent batches of yellow flowers, on a small island.

This one uses 1 BftU and 1 BftW, which was a much harder terrain combo than I anticipated (it's very different). It's called Jolly Roger. It reminded me of an island pirates use as a hideout.
