This thread was created with the purpose of compiling scenarios and campaigns (dungeon crawls) created by members of the Heroscapers community to be used specifically with our C3G figures. Anyone is welcome to create a scenario or campaign. The only rule is that you must include at least one C3G figure in your creation.

I will maintain a list of all scenarios and campaigns on the first page of this thread.

A Friendly Competition

The Brave and the Bold Senario: Batman vs. Green Arrow

Figures Required: Batman, Green Arrow, 15 Thugs
Map: Star City Bank (Link coming soon)
Number of Players: 2

One player will play as Batman and the other player will play as Green Arrow. First roll the 20-sided die. Whoever rolls highest may place one Thug on any empty space on the map. The other player may then place one Thug on any empty space on the map. Continue taking turns placing Thugs until all Thugs have been placed. After the Thugs have been placed, roll the 20-sided die. Whoever rolls highest may place their figure, either Batman or Green Arrow, on any empty space on the map.

Play as normal with the following exceptions. No player will play as the Thugs. At the end of each player's turn, that player may move up to three Thugs up to 5 spaces. The Thugs do not ever attack Batman or Green Arrow. Batman cannot attack Green Arrow and Green Arrow may not attack Batman. When you defeat a Thug, place the figure next to your card. Play ends when the last Thug has been defeated. Whoever has defeated the most Thugs, wins.

Fun idea! And if something's developed here that people really like, there's always the opportunity of starting a design thread on it and putting it through the steps to be playtested and C3G released. :)

This scenario could be a lot of fun. When we get to Ala Cart, you should choose this to work on so we can get it C3G approved.

I'd love to see a future C3G release with a booklet that contained 5 - 10 scenarios that utilized C3G and official figures. It would be awesome if the community was involved in this process. I really hope this thread generates some interest. :D

The scenarios would still have to go through the regular design process for them to get to the booklet stage with a C3G stamp. But I could definitely see GreyOwl doing a PDF each time a scenario went through the process and then maybe going back and assembling them (if he's game) once we got a few - especially if those few happened to work together as a campaign.

I really like the idea of stand alone scenarios, cause when you build one of these huge maps, you want to play a lot on it before taking it down.

It might be interesting to release a whole bunch of stand alones for one map in a booklet or even a single map campaign (that could be interesting).

I completely agree. I could see us passing scenarios for a C3G stamp, but hold off on releasing them until we had enough for a booklet. I think that would work fine, also.

Well I think if GreyOwl did the PDFs for individual scenarios it'd be easier to assemble them later because it wouldn't all require fresh graphic work.

Yeah, for the most part it would be easy to assemble later. Just updating page numbers.

Kind of what I figured. Also with ala cart is seems to make more sense to "release" as we go, and it just wouldn't feel like a real release were it not in GreyOwl PDF form. :)

Yeah. Which would make sense if we got 5-10 of them and wanted to release them in a "set." It'd also help to have several in order to figure out what the heck to put on that cover. :p

Hey Griffin,

I remember you were talking about a "Cops and Robbers" scenerio you had an idea for a ways back. Did you ever pound out any of those ideas?

I don't think he did, but we're were talking just now about how we want to make sure to do a scenario at some point with the Star City Bank map and the Glyph of the Time Bomb.

Hmmm. Back when we were spit-balling scenario ideas, someone said they had some ideas for a "Cops and Robbers" scenario. :?

I think were ideas, but nothing was ever really polished ...

Yeah that was me. I have wanted to do a jail break scenario and a shoot out scenario since I got the game of Heroscape.

I guess I would at some point see a map that was versitile enough to do different scenarios on. Also, it might be neat at some time to maybe have smaller maps that could be individual scenarios but can link together for a either a larger scenario or a campaign. I had thought about that a lot when I built and did some playtesting on Uner the El map. It was an awesome little map and I saw potential to link connect it to other urban type maps to form kind of a storyline of different situations in different parts of the city.

In fact, you could maybe even do it DnD style where the Heroes and Villains that survive one small scenario can continue on another map to play out another scenario and in that one, perhaps another hero and/or villain and/or squads can act as reinforcements that were called but came late for the first scenario. There are lots of possibilities. Actually, I believe when I first built Star City map, I connected it to Under the El and saw the potential for linkin maps. Really, they don't even have to be connected, once one side leaves the map, you can continue it on the other map and the time between one map to the other can be considered the chase or whatever.

For now, units are my priority, but I'll keep these ideas in mind and maybe work on something in my spare time  :D

Yeah, I would enjoy a DnD like "crawl" on Superhero maps as well ... :)

Doesn't have 2 FoTA sets.*Grumbles and groans in anger and dissapoint*
Ooh, that is gonna hurt. If you want to enjoy our most of our current maps and future maps, you are absolutely going to want to have 2 FotA sets. I think they sell pretty cheap right now ($20 ?) and they are easy to come by.

30$, but I found 1 on Funagain games, permanent price is $10.99.

Plus, I JUST turned it down to buy 18 DC heroclix singles from TaT for C3G/Superheroscape(not calling it Marvelscape due to the large amount of DC customs not included currently in C3G)

I don't call it Marvel Heroscape anymore either. SuperHeroscape all the way. :)
