Welcome to the Heroscapers 2.0 site! We've still got some dust to clear and adjustments to make, including launching a new front page, but we hope you enjoy the improvements to the site. Please post your feedback and any issues you encounter in this thread.
Overall Look: Looks great, very much like an abandoned warehouse.
Stability: Played on TTS, but nothing looks like it would unstable.
Build difficulty: Directions look very straight forward.
Size: 38 x 28, its on the larger size so you usually aren't getting into the action until round 2.
Unit types positively affected: Like all maps, fast figures and fliers are going to get into the action quicker.
Unit types negatively affected: Slow figures without range.
Key areas on the Map: I found the height with the battlements very where a lot of action happened.
Areas not used much or at all: Outside of the Warehouse, near the BFG.

Final Thoughts: I like this map a lot and had a fun time exploring the different areas of it. It has enough line of sight blockers where melee figures won't get picked off easily before they get into action. My only gripe would be the crates and picking up items. I think a special rule can be put into place to make it easier to pick them up. If I wasn't tossing the crates as a weapon leaving the items exposed I may never take the time to pick them up. I have a couple of thoughts that I will pass on to the LD. It's a large map and might not become a playtest staple but it's interesting and has many different ways to play on it. No physical changes recommended, just the item issue. Will play more games on this map for sure.
I played it tonight with the tokens uncovered and moved the crates adjacent and it seemed fine. Let me think on it tonight and I'll post up a decision tomorrow
C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: LEXCORP ABANDONED FACILITY
Spoiler Alert!
Overall Look: Very neat
Stability: I played on TTS
Build difficulty: I played on TTS
Size: It was quite large and had a lot of areas I didn’t explore
Unit types positively affected: Figures that want a ranged special attack and figures that are defensively vulnerable (smoke pellets)
Unit types negatively affected: Event Heroes (no items!)
Key areas on the Map: The BFG and the prize crates. I didn’t manage to make it over to the Medical Bay but I’m sure it would’ve been useful
Areas not used much or at all:
Action stayed on the BFG side of the map in both games
Team Test
Map: LEXCORP ABANDONED FACILITY
Units: Cell (240), Pinhead (335), Jason Vorhees (175), Desaad (240) (1000) vs JL Trinity (1000)
Unit Summary: Definitely felt like anyone’s game. If Cell had rolled even average on his damage dice, he would’ve felt very tough to take down and probably would’ve swung things to a win for the Tormentors.
Game Summary
Spoiler Alert!

Superman flies over and punches Pinhead for 3 wounds from height. Cell maneuvers next to Wonder Woman and misses a damage die roll on her. Cell tries to move away from Wonder Woman to use his pellets to keep Pinhead safe, but she lassoes him. So he punches her for 2 wounds and she drops the BFG. Superman punches Pinhead for 2 wounds. Jason does not return.

Cell punches Superman for 1 wound from height and heals back to full life. Superman punches Cell for 3 wounds. Cell fails a damage die roll and an attack on Batman. Initiative Trinity. Superman punches Jason out.
Map Summary: The BFG never got fired but there was a big battle over it. The smoke pellets had the potential to be quite useful, but Batman’s batarangs knocked it around. Desaad used the Experimental Medicine for a second life. The map has a cool “treasure hunting mini game” feel to it that I enjoyed. Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Superman with 1/7 Life and Wonder Woman with 3/6 Life win..

Game Summary
Spoiler Alert!

Cell maneuvers onto the BFG and picks it up. Pinhead cracks open a crate and the smoke pellets tumble out under him. Jason advances. Stratos drops He-Man next to Cell and Teela engages Cell as well. He-Man power punches and rolls terribly as well, but Cell whiffs his defense and takes 2 wounds and drops the BFG. Teela stops the knockback short but He-Man misses the damage roll. Stratos swoops over Cell for 1 hit, picking up the BFG on the landing, but also wasting a Blessing of Grayskull in a failed attempt at a second attempt. Cell maneuvers away from the scrum. Teela follows, but misses her Heroic Surge roll. Cell engages He-Man and punches him for 1 wound. Jason advances. Man-at-Arms and Teela advance, with Teela reengaging Cell. He-Man hits Cell for 2 wounds. Teela and Stratos finish Cell.
Initiative MotU. Sorceress teleports Man-at-Arms up next to the others. Jason advances. He-Man and Teela take out Jason. Pinhead picks up the smoke pellets. Stratos carries He-Man up and Teela advances. He-Man tries to Power Punch Pinhead, but Pinhead uses the Smoke Pellets to escape. Teela Heroic Surges to put 1 wound on Pinhead, then he hook massacres her for 2 wounds. Man-at-Arms advances. Stratos carries He-Man next to Pinhead. He-Man punches Pinhead for 1 wound. A juiced Man-at-Arms can only get 1 wound on Pinhead in 2 tries. Teela’s attack on Pinhead fails. Desaad advances. Pinhead hook and massacres Teela to take her out and then puts 1 wound on Stratos. Cell is 1 wound from returning. Jason does return, next to Man-at-Arms.

Cell fails a damage die roll on Man-at-Arms. He-Man punches Desaad for 2 wounds. Stratos and Man-at-Arms each put 1 wound on Cell. Jason misses his Relentless Assault on Man-at-Arms. Cell hits He-Man for 1 wound with his damage die, healing 1 of his own wounds, and Desaad hits He-Man for 2 wounds with his torture.
Initiative MotU. He-Man punches out Desaad with a Power Punch. Relentless Assault hits He-Man for a wound. Stratos and Man-at-Arms finish Cell. Relentless Assault hits Man-at-Arms for a wound. Desaad had OM1 and Cell had OM2. He-Man, Stratos, and Man-at-Arms finish Jason.
Map Summary: Cell bum rushed for the BFG this game and then rolled poorly for it, so the strategy backfired on him. The smoke pellets came up big for Pinhead, though it wasn’t enough. The Tormentors won the “treasure hunt” but their actual team wasn’t tough enough here. Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Sorceress with Full Life, Man-at-Arms with 3/4 Life, Stratos with 3/4 Life, and He-Man with 1/6 Life win
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: It’s a fun map! I never go the infrared goggles or gas mask. I’m not sure they’d be worth trying to pursue outside of specific match ups. The experimental medicine, smoke pellets, and BFG all came into play and felt significant.

Team Test
Map: ABANDONED LEXCORP FACILITY
Units: Witchblade (330), Darkness (330), Darklings (100), Captain America (240) (1000) vs Fantastic Four (1000)
Unit Summary: The Fan Four survive some tough rolls here but got some good use out of the BFG. A big swing was Human Torch avoiding what would be a death blow to go Supernova.
Game Summary
Spoiler Alert!
Map starts with 2 Smoke Pellets, 1 First Aid Kit, and 1 Batarangs.
Initiative Artifact Bearers. Cap advances. Fan Four advance in unison. All action is on the BFG side of the map so far. Darkness and Darklings follow Cap. Human Torch advances and picks up the BFG but is out of range, so he attacks Darkness normally and a Darkling falls to protect its master. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic position behind Torch. Witchblade uses her movement boost and zooms forward, then attacks down on Torch with Cap’s boost and height and inflicts 2 wounds. Torch drops the BFG. Thing advances. Invisible Woman picks up the BFG and fires it at Witchblade (who rolls 10 defense on height!) and Cap (who is on height and has an auto block). Her 2 hits do nothing to them. Mister Fantastic advances and fails an attack on Darkness.
Initiative Artifact Bearers. Cap charges in and socks a whiffing Sue for 3 wounds. Thing has +3 attack but can’t touch Cap with his terrible roll. Mister Fantastic ties down Darkness but can’t hit him either. Darkness fails to bring back the fallen Darkling, but he throws shadow into the crowd of Mister Fantastic’s allies, then punches Mister Fantastic for 2 wounds and follows up with a third on a damage die (his damage dice miss the other three members of the Fan Four). The Darklings move up next to him and Witchblade. Torch takes 1 swipe on two chances, but Flames On Witchblade and a Darkling, then hits Cap from range for 1 wound. Mister Fantastic Stretch Walks back to pick up the BFG and fires it into the last Darkling, Darkness, and Witchblade, taking out the last Darkling and putting 2 wounds on Darkness. Witchblade is too far away to shut off Invisible Woman’s aura, so she chooses the special attack, flies onto shadow next to Invisible Woman, and takes out a whiffing Invisible Woman with a 2 hit attack. Witchblade heals 1 wound. Thing punches Cap for 1 wound.
Initiative Artifact Bearers (again). Cap avoids a swipe from Thing and fails an attempt to punch Mister Fantastic. Mister Fantastic goes it alone and fails a punch on Darkness. Witchblade uses the movement again and attacks Torch from height for a fourth wound. She heals back to full life. Torch avoids a swipe that would’ve ended him and Flames On Witchblade, then goes Supernova and hits her for 2 wounds and brings Darkness down to 1 Life. Mister Fantastic finishes Darkness, who had OM3. Thing Clobbers Cap to bits.
Initiative Witchblade. She uses her special attack to finish Human Torch, then heals 1 wound. Thing and Mister Fantastic both fail to break through Bio-Adaptive Defense. Witchblade uses her special to hit a whiffing Thing for 4 wounds, then heals 1 wound. Thing hits her back for 1 wound. Witchblade can’t hit Thing, but does heal. Thing can’t hit Witchblade.
Initiative Fan Four. Thing finally rolls well on an attack of 9 and finishes off Witchblade.
WITCHBLADE ADAPTATION: Used the movement boost [1] times; immovable/ability negation [X] times; and special attack [3] times for [7] wounds on [Invisible Woman [2], Human Torch [1], Thing [4]]
BIO-ADAPTIVE DEFENSE: Felt [Very good, especially with Cap and height.]
HEALING FACTOR: Healed a total of [5] wounds
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Thing with 2/6 Life and Mister Fantastic with 2/5 Life win.
Units: Witchblade (330), Hellboy (340), Black Canary (JL) (220), Oracle (110) (1000) vs Sorceress (120), He-Man (320), MotU Story Card (60), Stratos (150), Teela (170), Man-at-Arms (180) (1000)
Unit Summary: Crates saw all the action this time (though Sorceress almost made it to the BFG before sacrificing herself). Pellets were big and the First Aid Kit was used. Batarangs were equipped but since Batman wasn’t in the game, they didn’t end up being worth using.
Game Summary
Spoiler Alert!
Map starts with 2 Smoke Pellets, 1 First Aid Kit, and 1 Batarangs. Man-at-Arms chooses the Experimental Medicine. Hellboy is hunting Bird Persons and is partnering with Witchblade.
Initiative Birds of Hell. Black Canary advances. She breaks a crate and Batarangs tumble out under her feet. Stratos carries He-Man forward and sets him next to a crate. Teela follows. He-Man breaks a crate and the First Aid Kid tumbles out. Stratos uses his swooping ability and picks it up. Hellboy moves forward but his Whopper Round can’t hit the other crate on his side of the map. Witchblade uses her movement power and cracks open the crate so that Smoke Pellets fall to her feet. Stratos carries He-Man forward and Teela follows. He-Man destroys the last crate and the second set of Smoke Pellets fall under his feet. Hellboy advances just slightly and Witchblade picks up the Smoke Pellets. Stratos carries He-Man and drops him on the Smoke Pellet spot, so he picks them up. Teela advances slightly.
Initiative MotU. Sorceress sends Man-at-Arms up to the battle near He-Man and shifts around Teela and Stratos. Stratos carries He-Man forward. Teela engages Hellboy but can’t hit him. Black Canary goes Into the Fray and attacks Teela, who fails to dodge and fails again with a reroll for her blessing. She takes 1 wound from the attack. Hellboy targets Teela, but He-Man uses the Smoke Pellet and moves away. Witchblade negates everyone and follows the Secret Attack Plan, but only hits Teela for 1 wound. Man-at-Arms takes the revealed OM1 from He-Man. Stratos carries Man-at-Arms to height, while engaging Canary himself. Sorceress moves up. He-Man targets Witchblade, who uses the Smoke Pellet and Hellboy picks up the Batarangs and Witchblade ties up Man-at-Arms and Stratos. Stratos swoops over Canary for 1 wound and lands next to Teela. Canary goes Into the Fray again and fails to hit Man-at-Arms from height disadvantage. Teela does a Heroic Surge next to Hellboy and hits him for 1 wound, taking out the Batarangs. She fails her dodge and he punches her out, but Man-at-Arms gets another revealed OM. Witchblade uses her special attack and hits Man-at-Arms for 3 wounds from height disadvantage, despite his using his blessing. Stratos carries He-Man next to Witchblade and Hellboy, then uses the First Aid Kit to heal Man-at-Arms 1 wound. Sorceress starts making her way towards the BFG. He-Man Power Punches Hellboy for 4 wounds. Canary cries, hitting Stratos and He-Man, but missing Man-at-Arms. He-Man’s knockback damage finishes Hellboy and He-Man and Stratos each take a second wound. Man-at-Arms double attacks Black Canary to take her out but her response is muted. Stratos fails in his swooping attempt on Witchblade. Witchblade uses her special attack to finish Man-at-Arms.
Initiative Birds of Hell. Witchblade uses her flying to move up next to Stratos and negate his height advantage. She follows the Secret Attack Plan and punches him for 1 wound despite his using his blessing. He-Man goes after Oracle in the start zone, smacking her for 2 wounds. Witchblade pursues, attacking He-Man from height for 2 wounds. He-Man has Sorceress advance, then finishes Oracle. Witchblade would finish He-Man with her special attack, but Sorceress sacrifices herself. He-Man Power Punches Witchblade for 2 wounds, which become 3 once he uses his blessing to reroll the Knocback damage. Huge initiative upcoming.
Initiative Witchblade, who engages He-Man but rolls miserably on her special attack and is blocked. She does heal 1 wound. He-Man Thunder Punches, but 2 hits don’t hit her or result in a knockback damage roll. Witchblade only gets 2 hits on her special attack but He-Man is kind enough to whiff and she wins.
WITCHBLADE ADAPTATION: Used the movement boost [2] times; immovable/ability negation [1] times; and special attack [4] times for [7] wounds on [Man-at-Arms [5], He-Man [2]]
BIO-ADAPTIVE DEFENSE: Felt [strong again]
HEALING FACTOR: Healed a total of [2] wounds
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Witchblade with 4/5 Life wins.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: Still think it’s a fun map! There’s a tile or two out of place on TTS (just needs readjusting) and the crates don’t load for me still, but I love the overall theme and it has a lot of fun nooks and crannies to explore.
