Nothing can compare or even come close to the actual product. Often times you will see a sculpt that isn't all that appealing,.............. and then you hold it in your hands and all the fine details are seen. I actually enjoy the bluish tint the shades have.

I keep wanting my Shades to glow in the dark, but they don't (yet...there may be a repaint down the road somewhere).

There is potential in that statement... (especially for my white and green shades...)

I feel the same way, they have that glowy look to them. A friend of mine has this glow paint that you cant see normally until its in the dark or under a blacklight. I may try some of that on my Shades.

I agree. I'm not a fan of gimmicks like lights, sound, spring mechanisms, or the like...BUT I really hoped these guys glowed in the dark after seeing that slight green tinge they have. Needless to say I immediately ran into a dark room with them and found that was not the case.

If I can find "invisible" glow paint I may paint them, assuming such paint doesn't cost a fortune. They're a fun squad and glow paint would push them into uber-fun land.

Rev, looks like you've sparked a point of interest for customizing these guys.
It leads me to ask how many 'Scapers actually play in the dark,...

How about a glow-in-the-dark wash? Now THAT would be spooky.

Jinkees, I wanted them to do the cool laugh like the spooks on the old Scooby Doo show.

That may actually be the way to go, as long as we can find some way to do it without giving all of us (more) cancer.
