Heroscape Online

First of all I'd like to say I do not know if you would need the copyrights of Hasbro to do this but I doubt it.

I know I could not carry on this heavy burden but would like to know if anyone would be able to make a program that allows to play Heroscape online with friends and family far distance. For instance: My cousin's live and NC and I live in OH so we don't see each other often which means we don't get much 'Scape played and being the same age we are very competitive against each other. We always talk on the phone and this is one of the main questions we ask. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could design our maps send them to each other upload them and then play against each other online with the collection we have or with an unlimited collection. Now this doesn't completely mean that the purpose of buying 'Scape would be pointless but for friends and family across the country (or globe) that you want to play with but don't get to see very often. It's a huge task but I would like to know if anyone would know how to, or at least take a whack at it. This is just a brief description. More can be added as we talk it out. Should that become the case. Otherwise this thread may just rest in peace like so many others before it, but what are you guys thought on an online heroscape game?
