Re: My Terrain:7/29 added Building Rubble

Its been awhile since anything new here but just picked up some trees from my local Dollar Tree and thought I would post some quick pics. Will eventually post better pics when I can use my wife's phone which has a better camera. I threw some quick terrain pieces together and used Syvarris and Brandis Skyhunter in the pics.

How did you build the rubble hexes?

Re: My Terrain:11/13 Trees from Dollar Tree Added

The rubble is built from actual brick and mortar. A couple of years ago, we remodeled the garage of the house into a spare room and I had to rebrick the outside. This produced alot of mortar and brick chips which we put in our driveway to help. I took some pieces of them and smashed them with a hammer and then glued it all together on a wodden base. Then glued in some wood splinters.

Re: My Terrain:11/13 Trees from Dollar Tree Added

I`m going to make a larger rubble pile, to fit over 3 hexes soon. I plan on taking some thin nails and try to bend and twist them and glue them in to it as well

Re: My Terrain:11/13 Trees from Dollar Tree Added

Yesterday, they were demolishing an old apartment building near where I work. I spent a lot of time looking out the window and watching from the parking lot to see how rubble falls! I like the idea of making irregularly shaped rubble piles.

Here is the larger rubble pile I have been planning on doing. I took a couple of nails and bent them.

A pic with the single rubble hex.

Re: My Terrain:11/15 3-hex building rubble added.

Nice work on the rubble. Since these examples are relatively flat, when you use these, do you allow figures to move through or on top of the rubble? I could see it working like heavy snow, counting as 2 spaces.

I havent played with the rubble much. But I do like the idea of treating it as heavy snow. Was even thinking about allowing figures to stop on it and if you are on the rubble you roll 1 less defense die because the char is off balance
