As a common hero, how about Multiple-Man?
(Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, Multiple-man, etc...) Start of your turn, roll the 20-sided die, if you get above 10, every multiple man figure on the board gets to replicate. He could be a common hero that comes with some marvel terrain set. Have it come with two or three of him. I'd buy a bunch! |

I for one would really like to see the Marvel game expand to Large and Huge figures, and include common squads.
As far as big figs go, I would most like to see the classic Sentinels to go up against a future release of the X-Men! And, as for common squads, such as AIM Scientists, SHIELD Agents, Innocent Bystanders, Kree Warriors, etc., they should be really powered-down so they drop like flies but still have a chance to inflict a wound or two on the heroes through their special abilities. |

While I have my favorites the same as anyone else, the No. 1 thing I'm looking for in Marvelscape is... Marvelscape.
As far as playability goes, I would put the 10 heroes in TCB up against any two vanilla hero packs, no question about it. Maybe the Lindesfarme/Elswin double-team has a chance to do better, but that's about it-- too many classic unique packs have too many bad heroes. Marvel is maybe the most efficient way to get good build-around heroes. If WotC releases more superheroes at this level of quality, there is no chance I will not buy them. The asphalt and warehouse wall are great pieces-- my favorite terrain by far. The thought of bridge segments, pillars, rubble, etc. built to the same standards of looks, size, and interactivity is very enticing. If WotC releases more terrain at this level of quality, there is no chance I will not buy it. As happy as I am that the line is surviving the change-over to WotC, what I'll drop on four unique booster packs per year is not a lot of income compared to what I would spend on major city expansions that are the equal of TCB in usefulness. I really hope the Marvel line gets more ambitious-- more big terrain pieces, some destructible cars and barricades, some major vehicles. Limiting yourself to 20 figures in 2008 is leaving a lot of money on the table. |

DAREDEVIL! Daredevil! Daredevil. We need him. Soon.
Thor, and perhaps Loki, would be nice, to boost the number of "cosmic" figures a tad. Iron Man needs a villain - Mandarin, perhaps? And of course Fantastic Four needs to be finished, along with the core X-Men. Like Iceman! I loves me some Iceman. ULTIMATE UPCOMING HEROCLIX INFO THREAD

I didn't say that based on any news or announcements, but everything comes to an end EVENTUALLY ...
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

How about a new "set" (Not sure what to call it,) that includes The Hulk, The Abomination (Movie Versions), Genreal Ross, a double or maybe multiple base tanks, and Common Squads of soldiers. Maybe if you put in some sand terrain, you could have a master set.
And are we completely forgetting the red-hot Ultimate universe? It seems to have a place among comic fans. If Wizards did it right, multiple characters could have different representations. An Ultimate Venom that could absorb common figures from squads would be too cool. Looking to fill that phrase with links.

I might be showing my age a little here, but I would much rather see the Heroes of the comic books that I grew up reading about in the 70s and 80s than any of the new or "ultimate" versions.
I would try to compare the differences of what what I remember the heroes to be against their "ultimate" couterpart, but sadly enough (or proudly enough) I have no knowledge or desire of how much they have changed. UPC's Heroscape Strategy Blog (and whatever else the Muse sends my way...) |

I second the desire to just see the "classic" version of heroes. I have no real need to see a bunch of alternate versions - there's so many unique heroes (the list is long) that I want to see before we start seeing multiple versions of the same heroes.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
