AZ Game Day - Saturday, May 3, 2008

What to bring:
A few 500 point pre-made armies for 1v1 and 3-player FFA games.
A few 300 point pre-made armies for 2v2 team games.
Dice, Order markers, and wound markers
Cash to pitch in for Pizza

House Rules:
Glyphs used in team games affect all players on the same team.

Glyphs will be determined for play in one of two ways:

• Players may mutually agree to play with/without glyphs.
• A 20-sided die may be rolled. Even numbers = Play with glyphs; Odd numbers = Play without glyphs.

X-Roads (Ch1can0) - Glyphs in picture will vary

3-Player Maps
Sea Gate (STAROCEAN980)

4-Player Maps
Border Patrol (Nadious & STAROCEAN980)

Hyperborean Warfare (Nadious) - Normal Snow & Slippery ice rules

Spidercastle (Ch1can0) - Glyphs in picture will vary

I actually can't make this, as I'll be hiking the Grand Canyon that weekend.

I was actually toying with the date, since I know May is so full of weekend-intesive holidays. I didn't want to get too far into the summer because of the heat/bug combination.

Here are the dates to play with:

May 3rd - No problems with this date.
May 10th - Mother's Day weekends - Most families have plans that weekend, but I wasn't sure if a drive to Prescott would affect this.
May 17th - No problems with this date unless we don't want Rehlers coming. :P
May 24th - With Memorial Day on the following Monday, most people have 3-4 day weekend plans that would conflict with this.

Suggestions?

May 3rd would be my vote, although I don't have a problem with the 10th either. The other 2 I'll be unavailable.

If I can swing a date that you can make, would you be opposed to bringing "The Cursed Village"?

Ok, so the date has been changed to the 3rd. The date actually works better because the other three Saturdays are undetermined for my wife and if she has to work or not.

If anybody has any maps that they would like to submit for this event, please feel free to PM me with the map (a pic would be helpful) and any rules for it.

As it stands without confirmation for The Cursed Village, I'm hoping to have two 2-Player maps, one 3-Player map, and three 4-Player maps.

I'll push to see if I can get my custom map finished by Game Day, but no promises.

I would like to bring the map, but I am kind of worried about how well it would hold up for that long of a trip, so I don't know that I'd be able to bring it for that long of a haul.

You can put me down as a yes for May 3rd, though.
