I think that just sticking with Stompy is pretty good for TKN's mount.

Been playing the Marro campaign with my son which has this character. We had a question - when he inflicts the wound can it be blocked by an armour role?

We have been rolling defence dice assuming that the character rolls out of the way. Which kind of makes his stomp useless.

There is no defense roll for any d-20 type attacks, including Tor-Kul-Na's stomp. It either works or it doesn't by the d-20 and that's it.

With Tor-Kul-Na's Trample Stomp, can he keep going until he rolls a 1-7, or can he only move 6 spaces (his move number)?

He can only move the six spaces (note that the first sentence of the power begins "At any point while moving").
