Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
was just looking and the core Nin-Gonost set will set you back $200 nowadays.
Ebay only had one wall pack (that means no flooring, just walls) and it was starting at $30. I feel really lucky and smart for having picked up every floor and wall pack I could afford back in 2004. ^^New guy around the forum^^ |

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
Very cool stuff. I love the level of detail and realism on the parking structure. I was just curious about what procedure you used to get the mortar lines on the Marvel warehouse ruins.

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
actually, its the other way around.
After I had finished the extensive modding and all the gaps were filled, I primed everything flat white, and hand painted each brick red. I cheated a little in areas where the bricks were numerous enough to gently dry brush them with a sponge brush, but mostly they were painted by hand. ^^New guy around the forum^^ |

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
Great terrain. Love the destroyed multi-story parking lot
Did you make the street lights or are they purchased pieces? Cheers |

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
those street lights came in some "army men" packs that had cops and firemen in it. It came with a ridiculous number of Traffic cones, some more or less useless street signs and only a few street lights. I mounted them on hand cut artboard bases and primed and painted them. I still have plans to ad a layer of Glow in the dark paint , then a layer of clear gloss to the bulbs, then i will put some decals on the bottoms of some layered flyers and graffiti.
to be honest, I never know when to stop. ^^New guy around the forum^^ |

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
It's been quite a long time, but I have a few pics already uploaded that I'd like to share. This is still the tip of the iceberg~!

Re: Agent Zehm's Excellent terrain
I really like the little river and the fact that it looks like the water is actually flowing. Those destroyed buildings and road(parkinglot?) look great too! + Rep!

I would really like to do a project of modular street tiles yielding enough to make them useful. ^^New guy around the forum^^ |
