Waxing eloquent on the wonders of CoN...

Well, Cobalt just ended and I am PSYCHED! This was so much fun, and I thank ABOMINATION heartily for removing my blindfold and pointing me towards the CoNing section...
I also thank all of you who complimented my plays as visionary. It's times like this that really pick me up, make me appreciate myself, filling in the slightly depressed pre-teen role as I am right now. Again, I thank you all!
However, I may not be able to participate in the next game, as my sister is planning on making an account for the sole purpose of CoNing. She is going to assume the role of Ulginesh, and seeing as we live in the same house, I don't believe we can participate in the same cave. If there will be more than one Basic Cave, (as I find the Keep overcomplicated and rather dizzying) I will let her play in place of me.

Advanced isn't that much worse than Basic (Remember, the only difference between a Keep and a normal advanced game is that PMs are not allowed in a Keep.) Like, the learning curve for "no CoN experience to visionary in a Basic Cave" is probably more than "Basic Cave to Advanced Cave." Given that you picked up Basic so well, the only thing with Advanced is that you have to memorize a couple roles. The gameplay is more or less the same, it's just that it is a little more complicated.
I'd say give it a shot, and if it turns out to be too much for you then you and your sister can switch off. But you shouldn't make sacrificing an opportunity to play the default option! The CoN is too excellent of a game for that. |

You're very welcome. You said in the Fan Art and Fic section that you enjoyed RPing, so naturally I thought of CoNs, but CoN is so much more fun because there's so much more deception.
Anyway, don't worry about getting confused by Advanced. I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it, and congrats on the win in Cobalt! |

take it from a Vet...Advanced is not much more complicated than Basic, and its more fun. The Keep on the other hand takes more skill.

Do what me and my brother has done: Take part in other caves!
It's fun trying to help each other out in the other caves... MegaSilver |

Thanks! Thanks for all the comments guys! I knew I was popular, but not that popular...
Maybe I will give Keep a shot. Time to read through that huge list of roles again... |

CoN is popular, not you.
Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that Keep isn't exactly my cup of tea. It was fun in Raido (since I was a puppet) but now it feels stale. Maybe it's better with smaller amounts of people... |

Abom, it only feels stale because the Keep has basically been reduced to nothing but waiting at this point. You gotta admit, the first couple hours were massively fun.
It'll be interesting for me to play in a regular advanced game after this. Remember Shockma, not every advanced game is a Keep. |

Eh, it wasn't that massively fun for me since my RP on Word got deleted, and I was stuck with nothing. Also, I was the Puppet Rogue in the Hangout Masq, and that is much more fun than a Warrior Lover.
It felt very wierd being on the outside and not very involved in the game. |

You gotta improvise! Literally, the only thing that I haven't improvised was my personality. I knew going into the game that I was going to be a jerk. But otherwise, every single post I have made has been made up on the spot. The whole thing with Runa and the stuff with Brunak, all of that was just a ton of fun.

I enjoy basic most of all. Just good 'ol puppet hunting, nothing except your intuition to guide you.
